Dark Chocolate Ganache

This easy dark chocolate ganache recipe is perfect to frost your favourite chocolate cake!


(For a fully frosted 6-inch cake)



  • 250ml Double Cream

  • 500g Dark Chocolate Melts



  1. Place the dark chocolate melts into a large heat-proof and microwave-proof mixing plastic bowl.

  2. Place double cream in a saucepan and bring to the boil.

  3. Pour the boiling cream straight to the dark chocolate melts and stir with a whisk until well combined.

  4. Let cool and ready to frost!
